Farm Store & Sales Assistant

Honey’s Harvest Farm is a regenerative agriculture farm practicing the principles of permaculture in our farming methods. The farm has been in business since 2016, and we opened our onsite farm store in November 2021. In addition to growing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and nuts in our gardens and food forest, we provide fun and healthy farm workshops and experiences. Next door to the farm is our 2-acre retreat property, Honey’s Farmhouse, where we offer  overnight farm stays, host retreats, and rent the studio space for private retreats and celebrations. Our detox program, Rejuvenate with Anna, is another facet of the business that we are actively growing. Our company’s purpose is to create a healthier world by providing nutrient dense products and experiences that empower people with knowledge, practices, foods, herbal medicine, and lifestyle choices that promote optimal health for life.


Job Position Description:

We are seeking a full-time Farm Store and Retail Sales Assistant with a background in sales and marketing to oversee all products and increase sales in our farm store as well as through online channels such as Shopify, Squarespace, TikTok, Instagram, and Google Merchant Center. Social media marketing is required. This position requires retail store shifts, extraordinary customer service, an authentic love of natural wellness, and promotion of farm products and experiences.

Responsibilities and duties include safe and proper handling, storage, and sale of all products; product inventory tracking and reporting; and in-store, online, and social media sales and marketing. Responsible for all duties associated with proper store operations, policies, and procedures, scheduling existing staff members, and hiring and training any new store team members. Responsible for online sales including online website maintenance and shipping in a safe and timely fashion in accordance with company policy. Creates content about farm store products for social media, including reels, live-streaming, and being on camera. Generates and executes ideas for in-store and online sales and specials in accordance with the season. Responsible for projects as assigned.

Must be passionate about sales as well as herbal medicines, teas, farm fresh products, healthy and holistic living. Sales and marketing experience required. Experience in any or all the following is a plus: regenerative or organic farming, gardening, herbalism, retail, and holistic health. Must work well with Honey’s Team Members in a collaborative, caring, and committed fashion. Must authentically align with the Purpose, Vision, and Mission of Honey’s Harvest Farm. We have a very small, cohesive team that strongly values mutual respect. The ideal candidate for this position would be self-motivated and able to work well both independently and in a group. Onsite tasks are required, there may be some remote work.  Weekends are very busy at the farm and are required with allowance for work-life balance.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of retail sales experience

  • 1 year minimum of work in the hospitality industry

  • Sales and Marketing experience

  • Social Media Marketing experience

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Proficiency in the English language

  • Strong Work Ethic

  • Located within 1 hour of Honey’s Harvest Farm

  • Farm experience a plus!
