Farm Store Cashier

Duties 

  • Provide a hospitable and friendly shopping environment for customers to encourage people to make purchases 

  • Gain a working knowledge of Honey’s products (training provided) to be able to speak to customers about the products and to answer their questions knowledgeably

  • Organize merchandise in attractive displays, restock and refresh throughout the shift.  

  • Keep the store clean and organized including additional inventory for easy restocking 

  • Adhere to company policies and communicate with Store Managers 

  • Work scheduled shifts in a timely and efficient manner, provide excellent customer service, present self in a well-groomed and appropriate fashion, work in tandem with the Honey’s Team to fulfill the Purpose, Vision, and Mission of Honey’s Harvest Farm.   

Requirements 

  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent customer service skills 

  • Exceptional work ethic and strict adherence to company policy and sales goals 

  • Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented 

  • Ability to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision 

  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks 

  • Willingness to learn about farm items and products and procedures quickly 

  • Ability to commute to Lothian, MD 

  • Reliable transportation a must 

  

Job Type: Part-time 

Pay: From $18 per hour 

Hours: Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)  

Work Location: In person at Honey's Harvest Farm, Lothian, MD

Production Assistant

Duties 

As a Production Assistant, you play a key role in keeping our behind-the-scenes operation running smoothly and efficiently. 

  • Wash, dry, and put away dishes 

  • Keep the dish area clean, organized, and running efficiently 

  • Maintain clean and safe floors throughout your shift 

  • Assist with trash removal and keeping work areas clear 

  • Help receive and store deliveries 

  • Support the production team with food prep as needed 

  • Assist with closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing stations 

  • Follow all sanitation and safety procedures 

  

Requirements 

  • Strong work ethic and reliability 

  • Team player with a positive attitude 

  • Willingness to learn and help where needed 

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends (Friday through Sunday) 

  • No experience required, we will train you 

  • Ability to commute to Lothian, MD

Job Type: Part time 

Hours: 9am-5pm, Friday-Sunday
