Join Alpha Dehner, owner and creator of M00IALPHA since 2018, as she shows you how to render beef suet and transform it into a nourishing, skin-protecting cream. This workshop is ideal for those interested in natural remedies and homemade skincare products.
This interactive 2-hour class includes:
A discussion of the nutritional and moisturizing qualities of beef suet and its history of use in traditional remedies
Tips for sourcing high-quality, grass-fed beef suet
A step-by-step demonstration of the rendering process
The beneficial properties of essential oils and other natural additives such as vitamin E oil and herbs that can be incorporated into your skin cream
A hands-on portion where you will follow a guided recipe to create a creamy emulsion
A discussion of the various uses of your skin protecting cream, from dry skin to natural beauty
You will have the opportunity to ask questions along the way take home a jar of the cream we made, along with recipes and tips for future creations. All materials for rendering and cream making will be provided.
